I know our trips to Wembley are very few and far between, but I wouldn't want to be playing there every other week. Shithole area, and a pain to get away from. I hope any appeal of playing league games there has lost its shine for them already.

the difference between a Spurs fan and a WHU fan is the level of expectation.

They are undeniably better than us over recent years and finishing third then second in the PL naturally raise fans expectations. Simple as that.

All I know is that Man City and Arsenal have won lots of trophies over the years while Tottenham fans have watched some amazing football in that time and regularly finish in the top 5.
After last season I think it's amazing that we have sold 50k season tickets again and who could criticise anyone for leaving early when you are 3 or 4 goals down which happened too many times last season.
Already this season we have started the season badly to suggest we are going to struggle again. You can't even compare what we go through to the clubs mentioned above. That comment is aimed at you as well Gilmore.

Be interesting to see how they do this year. White Hart Lane was less than the minimum allowable width but they had special dispensation due to allowable space. This suited their pressing game perfectly (hence that home record). Chelsea also played far more directly than usual to counter Spurs style. Hopefully they have been found out to an extent.

I don't hate it at all, you're another fabricator of my supposed thinking.
I don't think it's good enough for people to hide behind the fact it happens elsewhere. In fact I have used City as an example against people who want to push all the problems on to the team performances, even when winning they struggle to fill the ground because people clearly don't like it at the prices they want.

You hate it when it's bought up that other clubs like Spurs, Man City and Arsenal have similar issues as we do when it comes to empty seats and fans leaving early because it makes it harder for you to blame the LS on everything that is wrong with our club.

There was nothing more obvious last season than the emptied gleaming white seats at our place. Pretty sure it emptied out one game at half time. But we've the best fans in the world.
